A Very Few October Snapshots...

 So, tomorrow it's November. How did that happen?
But anyway, I'm sure you all are just dying to know what I've been up to the last month.
Fear not! This post will let you see just a glimpse of my *cough* incredibly interesting, and action-packed life. *end of cough* ;P

No fall experience would be complete without a leaf pile to jump in, right?

 We made a leaf pile. A huge leaf pile.

She's still pretty adorable, though. :) 

I've been knitting, as I mentioned before...

Saturday, Lilia and I decided to re-purpose an old school project...for archery practice. 

'Twas fun- even though I am rather sore from it. :)

I've been doing a lot of writing lately.
On Friday, I wrote 1636 words on a story- which is the most I've ever written in a day, so I was rather pleased about that. :D

  I'm also hoping to participate in this Fall Fashion Week- so hopefully next week you'll see a post from me every day.Until then- or, whenever... Adieu!

Outside my window- It sleeted today.

I am thinking about- My outfit for tomorrow evening. We're going to a dinner, and to hear a missionary speak.

From the kitchen- We made kimchi today.

I am creating- Knitting a scarf. And it's lovely. ^_^

I am reading- I haven't done any reading since last week...

I am hearing- Pandora Radio.

I am planning- Bed soon...

I am wearing- My pajamas.

My hair is- Loose, and rather snarly.

Around the house- Amanda and I just finished watching a movie. :)

 I am wishing- That my laptop wasn't being so slow tonight!

Outside my window- It's rather cold. Yesterday it snowed a tiny bit.

I am thinking about- Ordered the 1990 version of Lorna Doone from the library today. Hope to get it soon... 

From the kitchen- Dessert is cooling on the stove.

I am creating- Haven't done anything creative the last few days...

I am reading- "Deceived on Purpose" by Warren Smith.

I am hearing- Listening to soundtrack music on YouTube. :)

I am planning- No plans for tonight. Don't have to go anywhere/do anything. It's a good feeling. :)

I am wearing- A blue sweater, and a gray wool skirt.

My hair is- I knotted it, and then curled the ends and pinned them over the knot. I like it. :)

Around the house- Mollie went to the dentist, and the chickens got into the garden, but other than that it's been a pretty uneventful day.

 I am wishing- Downton Abbey- wishing they hadn't killed one of the nicest characters... :(

Outside my window- It's supposed to rain today.

I am thinking about- We finished preserving the last of the tomatoes yesterday! *faint surprised cheer* ;)

From the kitchen- I made granola this morning.

I am creating- Did some embroidering on a tablecloth yesterday. I've been working on it on and off for a while now, but I'm not even close to done yet.

I am reading- I read 'The Son of Neptune' and re-read 'Mara, Daughter of the Nile' over the weekend. Both are excellent books.

I am hearing- My new CD- 'Treasure Planet'.

I am planning- To sync 'Treasure Planet' to my MP3 player.

I am wearing- A tiered skirt with a gray shirt/jacket.

My hair is- In a bun.

Around the house- My younger siblings are doing school.

 I am wishing- Can't wait for the next episode of 'Downton Abbey' (Season 2). Wish it was out already... :D

Outside my window- It's a beautiful fall day- warm, and windy. Lilia and Amalia are playing in the sandbox.

I am thinking about- 'Downton Abbey'- can't wait till the next episode comes out!! :)

From the kitchen- Amanda and I just finished chopping up peppers to freeze. We also froze broccoli, and made applesauce today. 

I am creating- Well, I'm hoping to feel creative, and write on a story after I finish this. :)

I am reading- Read 'Talking to Dragons' yesterday- I finally got it from the library.

I am hearing- Dad's truck coming down the driveway.

I am planning- I have a bunch of unpacking to do- we went camping last weekend, and then we were gone all day yesterday, so I haven't had a chance to unpack yet...

I am wearing- A gray turtleneck shirt, and a denim skirt.

My hair is- In a braid.

Around the house- We've got nothing going on tonight- which is nice, because we've been busy the last few days.

 I am wishing- I've got an almost-cold. Please go away?
