Daybook 21

Outside my window- It's a cloudy, wet, rainy-ish day.

I am thinking about- It's my favorite little brother's birthday today! Granted, he is my only little brother, but still- I like to rub it in his face. ;)

From the kitchen- Buckets of tomatoes- waiting to be washed.

I am creating- Planning to make a cake later on for Said Favorite Younger Brother.

I am reading- Hoorayz! Book iz in at the libraryz.  Now if only someone would be going to town soon...

I am hearing- Someone's loading the dishwasher downstairs- I can hear the dishes. :)

I am hoping- I filmed another hairstyle tutorial.... but something is making it play all jerky/choppy when I try to edit it. Hoping to figure out the problem- or I'll have to re-film, or something... >:(

I am planning- Afore mentioned tomatoes? Yep. I'm in change of washing them.

I am wearing- An aqua top, with my skirt that can only be described as- 'bling-bling'. :D

My hair is- In a bun.

Around the house- Kitchen work, and birthday party preparations.

 I am wishing- Stupid movie editor- why won't you WORK?

Daybook 20

Outside my window- There's one tiny cloud in the sky. The rest of it is totally blue.

I am thinking about- How happy my two new pairs of sandals make me. :D

From the kitchen- Amanda and I did lots of kitchen work yesterday, so all that's left is steam juicing and canning some raspberries.

I am creating- I made an attempt to crochet myself some barefoot sandals this morning- maybe I'll give it another try this afternoon.

I am reading- Haven't done much reading lately, I'm waiting for a book from the library- but whoever has it in front of me simply won't give it up! ;)

I am hearing- My brothers are re-shingling the roof right over my bedroom.... It's noisy.

I am hoping- To sort through pictures from last weekend. Maybe I'll do a blog post- we'll see.

I am planning- Nothing much. Today is a day with no plans. Sometimes those days are the best.

I am wearing- A green t-shirt with a tan-ish/white skirt.

My hair is- In a Princess Anne Braid.

Around the house- Like I said- no plans = good day. :)

 I am wishing- That the silly crochet pattern I'm trying to use would make more sense. I've used it once before- but I've forgotten how I did it...

Rolled Braided Bun Tutorial

 It's been a long time since I've posted a hairstyle tutorial, but better late than never, right? ;)
I decided to try a video tutorial- it was easier than getting someone to take the pictures for me, or trying to take them myself. :D 
(And I apologize in advance for the poor lighting- and cluttered background! :D)

I am planning- To stay home tonight. I've been busy every day/night since Thursday.

I am wearing- Tiered denim skirt, and a pink&white button-up shirt.

My hair is- Braided, and in a bun.

Around the house- Babysitting my niece and nephew tonight.

Entered nine things in the county fair- came home with eight ribbons.

I got flowers painted on my fingernail at one of the fair booths...

It's ridiculous how happy it makes me. :D

Daybook 18 & Happy 50th Post To Me!

 Wow, 50 posts already? That went by fast. Thank you all so much for following me! :)

Outside my window- The weather has been a little nipper the last couple of days, but today, there is sunshine.

I am thinking about- Last night. I went with Amanda to her Bible Study- and had a good time. :D

From the kitchen- I think a granola bar is calling my name... Yep. It was. ;)

I am creating- Just finished writing a bazillion -ok, only 9- 'about' cards for the things I'm entering in our county fair. I got tired of it- I made the dress, ok? I don't want to go into great detail 'bout how I did it, or what I'm going do with it. I'm gonna wear it, duh! ;)

I am reading- 'Poirot Investigates' by Agatha Christie.

I am hearing- Pandora Radio.

I am hoping- To do some much-needed practicing today.

I am planning- To fold some laundry, and  re-make the bed in our spare room- we're having company tonight.

I am wearing- Jean capris, and a blue tunic-y shirt.

My hair is- In yesterday's hair-do- rolled back, braided, and then in a bun. It's a little fluffy from sleeping on it, but still presentable. :)

Around the house- Amanda, Lilia and Mollie are gone to enter things in the fair- I sent my stuff with them.

 I am wishing- First place for everything I entered? Yes please! ;P

Outside my window- Eventide. The sunlight is beginning to fade, and the air is getting cooler- which, after today, is a good thing. :)

I am thinking about- You know that feeling when you've just finished a good book, and there isn't any more to read, even though you're desperately wishing there was? I've got it. Post Book Reading Trauma, I call it. :)

From the kitchen- Supper's over, and Morgan is washing dishes.

I am creating- Yesterday I made myself some hair flowers.

I am reading- Just finished 'Mockingjay'- the third book in the Hunger Games trilogy.

I am hearing- Amanda's playing the piano downstairs.

I am hoping- Hm... Nothing at the moment.

I am planning- Laundry. I should fold it.

I am wearing- Denim skirt and a bright green tank-top.

My hair is- Braided, and in a bun.

Around the house- Dad's gone to buy ice cream so we can have raspberry malts. :D
