Outside my window- Eventide. The sunlight is beginning to fade, and the air is getting cooler- which, after today, is a good thing. :)

I am thinking about- You know that feeling when you've just finished a good book, and there isn't any more to read, even though you're desperately wishing there was? I've got it. Post Book Reading Trauma, I call it. :)

From the kitchen- Supper's over, and Morgan is washing dishes.

I am creating- Yesterday I made myself some hair flowers.

I am reading- Just finished 'Mockingjay'- the third book in the Hunger Games trilogy.

I am hearing- Amanda's playing the piano downstairs.

I am hoping- Hm... Nothing at the moment.

I am planning- Laundry. I should fold it.

I am wearing- Denim skirt and a bright green tank-top.

My hair is- Braided, and in a bun.

Around the house- Dad's gone to buy ice cream so we can have raspberry malts. :D

 I am wishing- For good weather this weekend.

Library Book Sale

Every summer, our library has a huge book sale.

Yesterday Amanda and I went to town and spent several hours perusing every book table. :)
I bought nine books for only $4.50!

Two P.G. Wodehouse books

 Three children's books

 Three teen-aged/adult books

And...

 A vintage Nancy Drew book for Lilia.

The lady who checked me out said that she had just bought a vintage Nancy Drew book online, and paid $22 for it. 

It cost me $1. 

So yeah, I'm happy with the deals I got. :D

Outside my window- Morning Glories in the flower boxes on the deck railing, and swim suits hanging out to dry.

I am thinking about- The awesome deals I got in town today. :D

From the kitchen- Supper is being made.

I am creating- Eh... still nothing. :/ Need to do something about that.

I am reading- Finished 'Emil and Piggy Beast' by Astrid Lindgren yesterday. 

I am hearing- Someone has the 'Flyboys' soundtrack turned up rather loud downstairs.  I don't have a problem with that. ;)

I am hoping- To re-arrange my bookshelves someday soon. I have too many books laying sideways 'cause I can't fit them in the shelves they ought to go in! Too many books is a good thing, right? Right. :)

I am planning- To walk to Grandma's house after supper.

I am wearing- A pink polka-dotted shirt with a brown skirt.

My hair is- In a low bun.

Around the house- Nothing much. Same old, same old. :D

 I am wishing- Why can't TV shows come out all at once? I need to watch the rest of Doctor Who Season 6 now. ;)

Outside my window- Very. Hot. Weather.

I am thinking about- Trying to decide what to wear to a wedding this weekend...

From the kitchen- Buckets of raspberries we just finished picking.

I am creating- Ugh. It's too hot to be creative. :)

I am reading- Still reading Wodehouse.

I am hearing- I think there's a plane going over, but I can't see it 'cause of the clouds.

I am hoping- That my almost-headache will go away soon. :/

I am planning- To go swimming right after I finish this.

I am wearing- My swimming suit.

My hair is- In a high bun.

Around the house- Everyone else is down at the lake.

 I am wishing- To re-arrange my bedroom... but I can't think of a better set up than what I've got. :D

My Favorite Color

After years of deliberating, I have finally decided.

My favorite color is aqua. 

Which is rather ironic, since I used to hate the color. :)
