Old Fashion Coconut Chest Rub

I like the notion of an old fashioned chest rub.

There's something soothing about a cool, pungent salve rubbed on a congested chest, vapors curling upwards to open blocked airways promising a good night sleep.  A sweet, effective tradition that should continue to stand as a standard remedy, don't you think?

This simple remedy has only 4 ingredients, that fills one 4 oz jar and 5 empty lip balm pots (for sharing):

1/2  C. Organic Coconut Oil
1/4  teaspoon Olive Oil
1 teaspoon beeswax pastilles

Combine together in a small pan, heat at low temp until beeswax has melted.

Add 30 drops of doTERRA's *Breathe essential oil blend.

*Laurel Leaf, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Melaleuca, Lemon and Ravensara.  Many of these oils have been studied for the abilities to open and soothe the tissues of the respiratory system and also for their abilities to combat airborne bacteria and viruses that could be harmful to the system.

Pour into the containers of your choice and let cool.  The melted oils may take a few hours to solidify.  You can speed the process by setting the containers in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

By combining the anti~bacterial and anti~fungal properties of coconut oil together with doTERRA's powerful Breathe blend of essential oils, you'll be providing quick relief and easier breathing with this simple and completely natural remedy!

Bring back the comforting tradition of this time tested, Mom approved cold remedy, the Old Fashion Coconut Chest Rub!
