Quick Skin Treatments for Busy Moms!




Let's face it, we're busy!  Good skin care often takes a back seat to soccer games, laundry, homework and a thousand other demands.    To celebrate your nurturing spirit and amazing driving skills, this is my Mother's Day gift to you...

Three quick & natural DIY skin care treatments!

Lemon Coconut Balm
Smells delicious, tastes luscious & so simple to make!

7 T. coconut organic, cold pressed extra virgin coconut oil
1 T. cocoa butter
30 drops Lemon EO

In a small pan over low heat, warm coconut oil and cocoa butter until melted.  Remove from heat, let cool for 10 minutes.  Stir in the Lemon EO and pour into storage containers.  Allow mixture to set for 2 hours.

* All skin types * Use daily * 20 min prep time * Makes approximately 1/2 cup * Use after a shower or bath to lock in moisture, nice lip balm too!





Do it Yourself Microdermabrasion

 1 T. baking soda
1 & 1/2 t. water
3 drops Helichrysum

In a small bowl combine all the ingredients until a smooth, slurry forms.  Dip the your fingers in the velvety slurry and massage the whole face, throat and chest using circular motions, then rinse.  Make one application, do not store.  Follow with a moisturizer.

* Helichrysum lightens and brightens skin, fading fine lines and sunspots *







Herbal Soapy Body Wash
Easy!

One 16 oz bottle of unscented liquid castile soap
{Dr. Bronner's}
8 drops each ~ Lemon, Lavender & Melaleuca
1 t. jojoba oil

An especially invigorating body wash, good for blemishes too!

Add the EOs and a teaspoon of jojoba oil to the bottle of castile soap and shake.
