Bam Bam BBQ Land


Meet Cameron AKA Bam Bam BBQ.  He's my first born, a legit BBQ Pitmaster and pill.  He's our favorite source of irreverent entertainment, mouth watering BBQ and general all out hilarity.  He loves the camera can you tell?




This last weekend, Cam had a big BBQ competition in Salt Lake City, a great and location for a lot of us to gather!  So much fun and so much goooood foooood...love bbq.




The whole professional BBQ scene is a bit intense.  Secret recipes, rubs, injections, layers of rubs, sauces, cook times, quality of meat, timing, turn in boxes...crazy complicated but it was so much fun for me to watch!  Get this:  turn in boxes have to be lined with parsley, meticulously lined.  OCD type lining!  Cam mentioned he needed to run to Whole Foods to get parsley, I offered to run the errand.  No, that wouldn't do, HE needed to select the parsley...it's that critical.  Can you believe that?  Whoa...the artist in me rejects that kind of conformity!




This is the Bamzoni, a mega monster custom smoker on steroids wheels and in a class of it's own!  You should have seen the Bamzoni stalkers...so fun to watch people out right stare at this beast.  Like I said, this is serious stuff.

Mixing up some BBQ magic, despite the voodoo doll that someone mysteriously placed at base camp.  Seriously people??




Pecan, apple, hickory and cherry wood are highly sought after and used in pro BBQ.  Even the smoke smells delicious!
